A Museum of Black Experiences

Kevin Jones is rethinking the museum. Scheduled to open over Juneteenth weekend in 2024, A Museum of Black Experiences will display Jones's collection of more than 6,000 items that represent the Black experience: items that both celebrate Black culture and history, as well as those used to subjugate Black American and Blackness.

In Episode One of Spill the Beans, Jones talks about collecting, the museum, and the most important piece he's ever received.
